Hi, I’m Marja - the person behind BERRY.

After years in creative and digital fields, I followed my passion into garden design. What started as a personal journey filled with learning, joy and a sense of wellbeing slowly grew into a desire to help others experience that same calm, beauty and satisfaction in their own gardens.

My approach is warm, practical and human. I’m not a believer in overly complicated blueprints, high-maintenance solutions or the idea that you need a huge budget to create spaces you love. Instead, I design gardens that feel beautiful, approachable and doable, gardens that make the most of what you already have.

Most of all, I want to give you the confidence to care for your own garden and enjoy the small wins along the way. For me, garden design isn’t just about the result. It’s about the journey - a shared process that helps us reconnect with nature, with creativity and with ourselves.

And a fun fact: Marja means berry in Finnish, which makes the name feel like a perfect fit for this little garden studio.
