It’s a focused, 2-hour visit in your garden where we talk through your space, your wishes and your everyday needs, and explore ideas and solutions together. The consultation helps you see new possibilities, understand what already works – and what could work better – in your garden.

What to expect from a garden consultation
A BERRY garden consultation focuses on your garden as it is right now, and how it can be improved to better support the way you live.
The consultation can be booked either as a stand-alone service, or as the first step toward a garden sketch or a full garden plan. The focus and preparation differ depending on which option is right for you.
During the visit, we typically cover:
• overall structure, flow and use of space
• ideas for garden rooms, zones and connections
• suggestions for layout direction, planting approach and atmosphere
• practical input on what to prioritize and where to start
The consultation is conversational and solution-oriented. We focus on what’s most relevant to you and your garden, based on a short questionnaire you fill out in advance. This allows us to use the time efficiently and go straight to what matters.
After the visit, you receive a short written follow-up with key observations and suggested next steps.
How the garden consultation can be used
A BERRY garden consultation can be booked:
• as a stand-alone service, if you’re looking for ideas, guidance and clarity here and now
• as the first step toward a garden sketch or garden plan, if you’re considering a more comprehensive design project
Good to know:
When the consultation is booked as inspiration and advice, the focus is on concrete ideas and solutions during the visit itself.
If the consultation is intended to prepare a garden sketch or garden plan, the visit is more deliberately used to understand the space, structure and overall layout of the garden. In this case, additional preparation (such as a measured garden drawing) is required and agreed in advance.
If you initially book a stand-alone consultation and later decide to proceed with a garden sketch or a garden plan, a shorter follow-up consultation may be needed to properly frame the design work.
This ensures that all garden sketches and garden plans are based on the right foundation and level of preparation.
A garden consultation does not include:
• drawings or sketches
• design plans or layouts
• plant lists or planting plans
• technical or construction-related advice
If you’re looking for a visual design, a clear layout or a more defined garden concept, we should talk about whether a haveskitse or a haveplan would be a better fit for your project.
Practical information & pricing
A BERRY garden consultation is a 2-hour on-site visit and costs 2.500 kr., invoiced on the day of the visit.
A short preparation questionnaire is included and sent in advance. No measuring or drawings are required when the consultation is booked as a stand-alone service.
For on-site visits outside the Helsingør area, a travel fee per kilometre applies, calculated from Helsingør. Any travel costs are always communicated in advance.
