Garden Plan: A cohesive outdoor space designed for real life
A thoughtful garden plan gives you clarity and structure. Designed for the people who use the garden, making better use of your entire outdoor space - forgotten corners included.
Feeling unsure how to make your garden truly work for you?
A garden plan is about creating a space that supports how you live - today and in the future. Good garden design can turn an ordinary outdoor space into something extraordinary by making better use of the entire space and aligning it with your everyday life.
A haveplan gives you clarity, structure and a thoughtful foundation for your entire garden, whether you choose to build everything at once or over time.
Gardens grow with us. That’s why BERRY designs with real life in mind: children playing, quiet mornings, long summer evenings, changing seasons, calm and moments of surprise.
What to expect from a BERRY garden plan
A BERRY garden plan is for you if you want a clear, long-term vision for your entire garden, with defined garden rooms, flow, pathways, functions and an overall design logic that supports everyday life.
The focus is on structure, atmosphere and coherence rather than technical detailing. You receive a scaled garden layout that shows how your garden works as one connected whole, including key elements and spatial flow, as well as the most important plants for each main area to support the intended look and feeling of the space.
To support the design, the garden plan also includes:
a visual moodboard that defines the overall look and feel of the garden
• clear, visual plant lists for the main planting areas, with images and basic guidance
• selected, realistic visualizations that help you see the potential of specific areas in your garden and better understand the design direction
A garden plan does not include technical construction drawings, detailed paving plans, drainage, levels, material specifications or contractor coordination. These decisions are best made together with the professionals who will build your garden.
Also out of scope are detailed planting plans with exact plant quantities or final bed layouts. These can be added as separate services if you would like more detailed guidance for specific areas of your garden.
BERRY’s role is to give you inspiration, clarity and a strong design foundation to work from.
Pricing
A BERRY garden plan costs 12.500 kr for a garden of up to approximately 800 m² (plot size). The price is in addition to the mandatory 2-hour garden consultation (2.500 kr), which always forms the starting point for the design process.
Larger gardens, more detailed planting plans or additional scope may increase the price. Any adjustments are always discussed and agreed in advance.
How it works?
Step 1: Garden consultation
Every garden plan starts with a 2-hour garden consultation in your garden. We walk the space together, talk through your wishes, everyday needs and priorities and explore the possibilities for your garden as a whole.
Before the visit, you’ll be asked to measure and draw your garden in scale (1:100) and answer some questions. Clear instructions and examples are provided, and I’ll guide you through the process so you don’t need any technical background.
Step 2: Design & refinement
Based on the visit, I develop your garden plan in my studio, working with structure, flow and the overall garden logic.
The first step is a conceptual sketch of the garden, which we review together – either in person or online. Based on this, one round of adjustments is included before the final garden plan is completed.
Step 3: Delivery of your plan
You receive your finished garden plan and we go through it together, either in person or online, so you fully understand the design, key ideas and next steps.
All plant lists, visual material and supporting content included in your project are delivered digitally, and your garden plan is also provided as a printed physical copy once the project is completed.
