It’s incredibly common to overlook one part of the garden – a shady back corner, an awkward strip along the house or a space that just never felt inviting. Over time it disappears from your mind, while all your attention goes to the sunny terrace or the areas you already use.

But with the right ideas, these “lost” corners often become the most magical part of the entire garden. A single well-designed zone can feel like discovering a whole new outdoor room, and it doesn’t require a full redesign or a huge budget.

The Garden Focus Project helps you unlock the potential of one specific area and turn it into something meaningful: a cozy reading nook, a cool lunch spot for hot days, a sensory play space for kids or a peaceful green sanctuary where your mind can rest.

You’ll receive a clear, tailored concept that brings together layout, planting ideas and atmosphere – showing you exactly how this forgotten corner can become a place you love to spend time in.

Price & details

From 2.800 kr. / 375 € – price depends on scope

  • Perfect for giving new life to a neglected or underused part of your garden – whether it’s an empty lawn patch, a forgotten side corner or a shady zone that’s never found its purpose.

  • Ideal if you want to upgrade a single defined space without committing to a full design plan.

    • Includes a tailored layout concept with placement ideas for the most important elements (furniture, planting structure, focal points, pathways or other features depending on your needs).

    • You’ll receive clear visuals and practical notes that make implementation simple at your own pace.

    • If you want extra styling guidance or a detailed planting plan, these can be added as optional upgrades.

    For in-person consultations, a fee of 700 kr. is added to cover travel and onsite time.

    For very compact spaces such as single balconies or terraces, check out the Balcony & Terrace Styling service, a focused design & styling concept tailored for small-space living.

How it works?

Step 1: Your input matters

You’ll start by sharing photos and a simple sketch of the area you want to transform .

You can also share your style preferences, wishes, light conditions and any challenges you’ve had with the space. I’ll guide you through what’s needed so this step feels easy and clear.

For smaller, overlooked areas (like shady corners or unused lawn strips), these inputs help reveal what the space could become.

Step 2: From ideas to concept

Based on your input and priorities, I’ll create the initial concept for your chosen area – showing layout, key elements and options for how the space can function beautifully. You’ll have the chance to review and give feedback so the direction feels both practical and inspiring.

If you’ve added a detailed planting plan, we’ll also align on the visual mood: the style, colour palette and planting approach so everything fits together naturally.

Once aligned, I’ll refine everything into a clear concept you’ll actually want to bring to life.

Step 3: The final plan

After this process, you’ll receive your tailored design package for the area – including a layout sketch, clear guidance and practical next steps for implementation.

If you chose the detailed planting add-on, you’ll also receive your full planting plan (plant list, layout and notes) ready for purchasing and planting.

At this stage, small adjustments are still possible, but major changes outside the agreed scope are not.

The goal is a plan you can confidently move forward with, and if questions come up later, support is available.

Extra options to tailor your project

Expanded Design or Styling

If you realise you’d like help beyond this one area – for example, tying the overall garden together or upgrading furniture and decor – you can combine your Focus Project with a Garden Design Plan or Garden Styling for a cohesive look.

Garden Coaching

Perfect if you’d like extra support during implementation or want help fine-tuning the space as it evolves. Coaching can be added as one session or a small pack for ongoing guidance.

Planting Options

Every Garden Focus Project includes general guidance for plants that suit the space.

If you want a complete planting plan, you can choose between:

• Bespoke Planting Plan – fully tailored layout, quantities and plant list designed specifically for your space, style and conditions.

• Signature Bed Concept – a ready-to-plant design from the BERRY collection, adapted to fit your chosen area.

Both options can be added at a project-based price depending on size and detail.
